Several mattresses are designed with natural layers on both sides, allowing for them to be flipped and rotated to extend their lifespan. What's the best way to clean a double mattress?

Regular mattress care is key for hygiene and longevity. Airing your mattress frequently helps prevent dust mites and odours. For cleaning, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent and ensure the mattress is completely dry before replacing bedding. Avoid harsh chemicals which could damage the fabric and stitching. Vacuuming is not generally recommended, as it can affect the comfort layers. If necessary, use a low setting or dustbuster very gently. Flipping and rotating your mattress regularly, as per product instructions, will also extend its life and ensure even wear. What's the average lifespan of a double mattress?

The average lifespan of a double mattress is typically between 7-10 years. However, several factors can influence this, including the mattress quality, materials, and how well it's maintained. Regularly rotating and turning your mattress (every 3 months is recommended) helps distribute wear evenly and can significantly extend its life. While some manufacturers suggest replacing mattresses every 8 years, this is often a general guideline. A well-cared-for, high-quality mattress can comfortably last a decade or longer. Ultimately, the decision to replace your mattress depends on its condition and your comfort levels.
How often should I turn or rotate my double mattress?

To keep your double mattress in top condition, we recommend rotating it every three months. This helps distribute weight evenly and prevents dips from forming. For our Classic, Deluxe, and Luxury Comfort mattresses, you should also turn them over every three months (unless it's a firm mattress, which should only be rotated). This is because these mattresses have comfort layers on both sides, unlike many competitors' rotate only mattresses. Regular turning and rotating will significantly extend the lifespan of your mattress and ensure a comfortable night's sleep for years to come.
How deep are Danetti's double mattresses?

Our double mattresses come in two depths. The Classic Comfort mattress has a depth of 26cm. Our other double mattresses (Deluxe Comfort, Blissful Comfort, and Luxury Comfort) are slightly deeper at 28cm. Both depths are considered standard.
